Find meaning. Distinguish melancholy from sadness. Go out for a walk. It doesn’t have to be a romantic walk in the park, spring at its most spectacular moment, flowers and smells and outstanding poetical imagery smoothly transferring you into another world. It doesn’t have to be a walk during which you’ll have multiple life epiphanies and discover meanings no other brain ever managed to encounter. Do not be afraid of spending quality time by yourself. Find meaning or don’t find meaning but “steal” some time and give it freely and exclusively to your own self. Opt for privacy and solitude. That doesn’t make you antisocial or cause you to reject the rest of the world. But you need to breathe. And you need to be.
Comparison will steal your joy and beat you down. Learn to embrace the uniqueness of yourself and how to love who God has designed you to be.
Carol/Daryl bottle episode.
a whole episode of just Caryl.
After the reunion/after Daryl thought she was dead! and it’s Norman’s favourite so far, “What was your favorite scene to film in Season 5?“There’s a whole episode that’s sort of specific to my character and to another person’s character.”
Norman and MMB work so well together, they have such great chemistry. so happy <3
I am better than I was.
I will be better than I am.
Who would Daryl ‘choose’? lol really??
Nope. no way
And God said “Love Your Enemy,” and I obeyed him and loved myself.
I firmly believe in small gestures: pay for their coffee, hold the door for strangers, over tip, smile or try to be kind even when you don’t feel like it, pay compliments, chase the kid’s runaway ball down the sidewalk and throw it back to him, try to be larger than you are— particularly when it’s difficult. People do notice, people appreciate. I appreciate it when it’s done to (for) me. Small gestures can be an effort, or actually go against our grain (“I’m not a big one for paying compliments…”), but the irony is that almost every time you make them, you feel better about yourself. For a moment life suddenly feels lighter, a bit more Gene Kelly dancing in the rain.
